Preparation:
Dab the skewers dry after defrosting. Season according to taste with salt, pepper and soy sauce (not too wet) and fry in olive oil. The Tuti skewer is also very suitable for steaming in
combination with fresh vegetables.
Where to use:
Thanks to the fast preparation time the skewers are a perfect addition to a finger food buffet and can be used as a small snack for standing receptions or for outdoor events. Their sushi appearance means they can be used with versatility and makes them a high-quality convenience product.
Recipe idea: Thai skewer on exotic fruit
Soak red lentils for 3-4 hours in warm water. Peel ripe mangoes and cut the pulp from the core. Cut the pulp into cubes of 1x1 cm. Then marinate the cubes with lime juice, a dash of vinegar (light-coloured) and a little sea salt. Sweat fine shallot cubes in olive oil, add the fruit, heat for another 2-3 mins. Sauté the skewers in sesame oil for 3-4 mins. and arrange decoratively with fresh herbs on the fruit ragout.
Garnish with black sesame grains.
