Preparation:
Dab the skewers dry after defrosting. Season according to taste with salt, pepper and lime juice and fry in olive oil. You can also steam them with some fish stock to give the full flavour.
Cooking times:
Steam for approximately 4-5 mins., fry for approximately 3-4 mins.

Where to use:
Thanks to the fast preparation time the skewers are a quick addition to a finger food buffet or can be used as a small snack.

Recipe idea:
Dab the snack skewer after defrosting. Cut yellow pepper, shallots & garlic into small cubes and sweat in olive oil with curry powder. Deglaze with a little fish stock and white wine (cover only slightly with liquid) and boil for approximately 7-9 mins. In the meantime steam or fry the skewers (approximately 3-4 mins.). Mix the sauce well and strain, bring to the boil again and add knobs of butter, salt, sugar and coconut milk. Arrange decoratively on deep fried aubergine slices and pomegranate seeds and serve. Do not forget fresh herb decoration.
